Lubu Heels

I want to show you one of the lacquers I love the most of my stash. I thought I already showed you this one, but I haven’t. I think a lot of you already know this amazing color, since it is so gorgeous and I think many girls already have it. If you do not, why wait any longer! It is a-ma-zing. I’m talking about Lubu Heels. A gorgeous polish with a black base and really nice red shimmers.

In real life the red glitter is a bit more noticeable than on the pictures above. It’s more like the part near my cuticles on the swatch above. I really love it! If you are looking at this manicure close you can see how amazing it is, are you a little further away it is more like a burgundy red. The wear time is amazing. I wore this for a whole week (including 2 work-days) and only after the last work-day with a lot of wrapping boxes and unpacking I needed it to take of because it was chipped. Application was also great, this is 2 coats. I think this is a must-have in every collection cause it’s original and lovely.
MNY 673

I think you probably read enough for the entire year (and next year) about Maybelline’s MNY but when I saw this polish I knew I had to have it. Why didn’t I saw this earlier? It’s a gorgeous black with big silver glitters that don’t show up on these photograph as well as they do in real life. Application was not as good as the other lacquers I own from this brand. This one was thick and didn’t apply that easy. Dry time was not so good too. Weird that from the same brand and same line formulas are different. I do recommend this because it’s so drop dead gorgeous in my opinion. A lacquer every addict should have!
Krackpolish

For my birthday back in Juni Suzanne got me this Krackpolish, so I’ve had it for a while. I hesitated a bit, don’t know why but I wasn’t sure about liking the effect or not. Anyways, last week I finally had enough courage to try. I did one coat with Matte Black from Diamond Cosmetics and covered my pinky with a layer of the krackpolish in the red color I own. And nothing happened.. I started thinking I did something wrong, and started googling. After a while I noticed a few small cracks.. Hmm. Maybe I didn’t put enough nailpolish on my nails. I did my ringfinger with a bit more, and the index and middle ones with even more. Well, take a look at the photo’s and see for yourself. You need a kinda thick coat to get the krack effect noticeable.

I read some stories on the net about krackpolish that cracked way to long, so there wasn’t any lacquer on the nails anymore.. I didn’t experienced that for this one, but I only tested it and I still need to do a full manicure. I really really like the effect. It makes me wanna get more krackpolishes! I know there are other brands that sell these kind of lacquers so I want to get some other colors of Krackpolish and some other brands too. Does anyone of my readers has an experience with any krackpolish?
Stripes

For todays manicure I once again got inspired by one of my favourite nailblogs, The Lacquer Files. Michelle has a thing for stripes, she used that on a lot of manicures i’ve seen from her. Anyways, a while ago she posted this green nailart tutorial and there you have my inspiration. Of course I already knew that with stripers it’s quite easy to do a nailart stripes, but I never tried it in this way.

Here is my version of the striped nails. For the basecolor I used 2 layers of Paris Memories #244, the black and white stripers are from the Herome Graffiti Nail Art line. It’s really easy to do, and I personally think it gives you a really nice fun and funky manicure. Gotta do this more often with different colors. I really like it.
Nfu oh 60

When I was looking up some swatches of the Nfu Oh polishes I saw this one. I couldn’t find a lot of swatches from this polish so I was doubting wether to buy this one or not. I’m glad I did. Most of you know that flakes are really nice to layer on a black polish. This polish already has a black base. It is, as all the polishes I ordered, a bit sheer but when you put a layer of black under it I think this color really pops. The flakes are orange/yellow colored and sometimes they show their green side. It’s not like rainbow or Nfu Oh 38 cos that one has more orange/red flakes instead of the orange/yellow ones in this.

Overall I really recommend everyone to get some Nfu Oh polishes. I know they aren’t as cheap as Catrice or another drug store brand but they are really worth it. The polishes are unique and Nfu Oh has a great varity of colors and different kind of finishes. They also sell real over the top holographic polishes. They are easy top apply. The colors are a bit sheer on their own but with a base color they really are something you need to have in your stash. I bet everyone gives you compliments when you wear one of this polishes.

Gradient

So I did an attempt to do gradient nails. It turned out okay, the gradient could be more but hey, I’m a little n00bie on this one so don’t judge to hard
Anyways, this is:
- China Glaze – Sexy in the City for the blue.
- Konad Special Nail polish in black with a gold shimmer for the black.
- China Glaze Fairy Dust for the glitters
- Konad Special Nail Polish in white for the konad flowers
- Image plate m57
and a loooot of patient. It took me for about 1.5 hours to make this. Damn, that’s more time then I spend on school on an avarage day. Anyways, I like how it turned out! It feels like i’ve been to a salon or so.
The blue is in real life more aqua. Still haven’t got my cam (my dad is kinda bizzy with a lot of things, so he still hasn’t got the time to put the vacationphoto’s on his pc..) and this one really sucks at taking bright colors right on the photograph.
