DC Days – Serendipity

Last but not least, this is Serendipity. It’s from the 2010 spring collection. The color is a bit off on the photo (my canon is in Spain right now, my parents took it on their vacation, so I made this photo with my samsung). It’s actually a grey blueish color, but it seems more babyblue on the photo than it’s in real life.

It only needed 2 coats to be full opague. It’s quite an unique color in my collection. It’s not grey, not blue with a creme finish. I think I haven’t anything in my stash that comes near to this.

I hoped you like the DC days! Tomorrow there will be the final post, with a giveaway! See you then :)

DC Days – Orange Blush

So, today the last two post with DC polishes. Are you getting sick of it already? This is Orange Blush from the 2010 spring collection, the color number is 351. If you gonna order it at boozyshop you can find it by that number. It’s a bit sheer so it needed 3 coats to be opague. Well, that’s good enough for me. It’s a really great spring color.

DC Days – Matte Smoke

This is the last one from the matte collection. This is Matte Smoke. This one has the satin finish too.

Opaque in 2 coats again. Easy application and a nice color. What do we need more?

DC Days – Matte Black

The only black I own is this matte (satin) one. It is as all the matte polishes from DC quite opague after 1 coat, but for the best result you would need two.

DC Days – Mystical Knights

I mostly use this dark blue when I layer it with one of my flakies, but this one could proudly be worn on it’s own.

With  flashlight the blue shows up better than when I photographed it in daylight. It’s really dark and sometimes it’s almost black. This is a good color for those who want to wear something dark but need a variation of the black polish.

DC Days – Chainmail Charm

One of the other popular polishes from DC is Chainmail Charm, a holographic dark grey color.

In daylight the holographic effect isn’t that in your face as some of the other holographic polishes that I own. It’s more subtile and I really like how this one turned out.

DC Days – Sparkling Sherry

A color that is popular in the nailblog scene is Sparkling Sherry. Of course I was really curious where all that talking was about. Is this color really that great as they say? Yes it is! I think it’s quite unique in it’s color and the finish, just wow!

Look at it, just wow. I don’t really know what to say about this polish. It’s even better with topcoat wich I didn’t use for this swatch photo’s. Get your hands on this one!

DC Days – Drift Away

I’m so glad that I got these dark purple polish home with me. It’s really great and lovely for winter times. As I mentioned before I don’t like dark colors in the summer, so this is really a polish thats stays in it’s box when the sun is shining.

It’s opague in 3 coats and I feel I’ve found the right shade of dark purple for me. Most of the dark polishes are to dark for my skintone, so I feel like a dead body when I wear them. This one doesn’t. I kept staring at my nails when I worn this for the first time. I just couldn’t believe that I found this perfect shade for me haha! For those who have a really pale skintone like me, try this one!

DC Days – Metallic Venom

Well, the name says it all. It’s a metallic polish. The name really suits this polish. Purple is (for me at least) a deadly poison color, so DC did a good job on this one.

It’s kinda streaky, but maybe a ridgefiller will be a solution for that. The color is opague in 3 coats.
