Remember that I posted ORLY’s Fantasea a while ago? Well, don’t you think Diamond Cosmetics Canyon Sunrise looks a like? It is a little less duochrome and the gold isn’t as noticeable as in Fantasea but still. It’s pretty close! I saw this nailpolish at first at Sarah her blog Cherryplumsky and I put it on my wishlist immediately. I ordered it together with Hue are you last sunday and I really like it. Application was really easy and it only needed 3 coats to be opaque. A lot better than Fantasea which needed an extra coat and came to a total of 4 coats. Dry time was quick, that’s what I used to with Diamond Cosmetics and I almost never get dissapointed by this brand.

I’m not really a girl who wears brown. A brown lacquer almost always makes my skintone look really pale. This one doesn’t. It is a really light brown with golden shimmer. The brown has a red undertone.

Application was great. This is only 2 coats. The polish itself is quite thin, so I had to make sure that there wasn’t a lot of polish on the brush. Drytime was quite good. ChinaGlaze is one of my favourite brands and this is one of the reasons why. Their application is almost every time really good, weartime is good, most of the formulas are quite good so I don’t have anything bad to say about the brand.

Way back, when Boozyshop.nl was just born, the owner sold DaVinci, a brand from Poland if i’m not mistaken. I’ve worn this lacquer a lot. It reminds me of summer ’08. On my nails the color is way more orange than in the bottle. I was surprised when I tried this for the first time. It is almost a one-coater. The polish takes a bit of time to dry, but it doesn’t annoy me and with some seche or david you solve this problem.

I’m kinda sad Boozy isn’t selling this brand anymore cause I would loved to try out some more polishes of this brand. I think this one is quite unique for a brand as cheap as DaVinci was.

I mentioned this brand in a few post (1-2-3) before. In those posts I’m quite enthusiastic about this brand. So I did a little research and found out that this brand is sold at the dutch store Dirx. The polish is really amazing. And the best of all? It only cost 1,29€ a bottle. That’s really cheap! Even cheaper than the Catrice polishes. Application is great. The lacquers are a bit watery, but nothing that bothers me. Better than some of the Catrice ones that are having a real thick consistency and need to be thinned. Dry time is really fast, most of the colors are opaque in 2 coats. Even the sheer one I’m gonna show you sometime soon was opaque in 3 coats. I really recommend you to get this brand. I’m really sorry for those who are not living in the Netherlands or near a a Dirx store. I’m searching for a webshop or another store that sells these. Today it’s 244 I’m showing you. It’s a real cool red based color with golden shimmers. It reminds me a bit of Strawberry Fields from China Glaze, but this is the red version. I had a real hard time photographing this one. The golden shimmer isn’t showing as it shows on your nails. I did my best, but remember that the shimmer shows up better than in the photographs, but it’s not as strong as the shimmer in Strawberry Fields.

I did 3 coats of this lacquer, to get a complete coverage. I think you already know how I think about visible nail lines, so no need to explain that.

Orly is becoming one of my favourite brands. They make lovely polishes that are quite extraordinary. Take this one for example. A light purple base filled with gold shimmer that makes a duochrome. When the first swatches catched my eyes I immediately knew I had to have this one. My lovely e-friend Suzanne was ordering at Nailpolishfashion, a dutch webshop, when she saw that Fantasea was for sale there. She texted me and ordered one for herself and one for me. How lovely. Last week it finally arrived (it was at backorder) and today I made my own swatches. Gosh I love this one.

This is one of those polishes you keep staring at. I really like how sometimes it seems more gold than other times. It is kinda sheer, so this is 4 coats for complete coverage. Three was okay but I hate visible nail lines so I used another one. Good thing is that it dries kinda quickly so it didn’t take me long for completing this manicure.

I’m really sorry there wasn’t a post up this afternoon. I totally forgot to upload a post yesterday, and I always work the whole saturday. But well, here it is. This is another one of the polishes I got from one of my friends for my birthday. She really spoiled me, I got 9 polishes in total. Isn’t she sweet? And she picked really cool colors. This is a bronze/gold one. Not really my kind of polishes normally but I like this one. Application was great again, dry time could be better but it’s okay.

It has a nice shimmer in it. I think this isn’t really my type of polish cause I don’t like it with my white and really pale skintone.

This polish might be saying you to close your eyes but when you look at this one your certainly do not. It’s a really vibrant purple with red and golden shimmer. It kinda has a duochrome effect with the gold.

Application was smooth, dry time was quick but it really chips fast. This was my first ORLY I tried so I don’t know if it’s just this polish or all ORLY’s tend to chip easily.

Strawberry Fields is a quite popular polish from China Glaze. This gorgeous pink with gold glitter is just wow. There are a lot of pinks with a gold shimmer or glitter out there but this one is different. I don’t know how other owners of this one are feeling like when they wearing it, but I keep staring when the suns strikes it. The gold glitters pop up even more and just wow.

See how lovely it is? I really like this polish for summertime. It’s too shiny and shimmery for dark days. You really need the sun to shine cause otherwise the gold glitters don’t show up that much.

Today I wanted to share you how my bare naked nails look like. I hated my polish-free nails for a really long time, but I’m getting used to it. Sometimes I just don’t want to wear polish so I need to look at this baby’s. I almost never wear basecoat so my nails are a little yellow. I really don’t like them this short. I like my nails to be long, but after my vacation 2 of them just decided to break down on me. I dislike nails to be in different lenghts, so they are all shorties right now. Well, thank god they will grow again:D

Of course I’m not gonna show you only my naked nails. That would be kinda boring. So this is Pretty in Pink from the normal collection from LA Colors. It’s kinda sheer, so I’m not wearing this really often. Only when I need my nails to be neutral.

When I’m wearing this color I think about my grandma and my teddybear lol. My teddy was named Pip (after pippy). It reminds me about my grandma becasue she is always wearing colors like this. She still does pedicures for people and wants her hands and nails to be cared for, so she is always wearing nailpolish. Guess that’s where I got the roots for my nailpolish addiction

When I see shimmer in pink polishes it’s most of the time gold. So not surprising that this polish has that golden shimmer too.

The LA Girl Rockstar is fabulous. I love it! I own a few of them and I love every single one of them so much. Today I’m gonna show you Addict. Addict is a red one with little golden glitter in it. You can purchase (if you are in Europe) this brand from Boozyshop.nl. Maaike has some great brands in her shop. Most of my online buys are from her. Her service is great and is such a lovely girl.

I hoped the golden glitters would have showed up a little better. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely color but you can’t see the glitter that well. So I decided to cover it with China Glaze’s Golden Enchantment.
