MNY 549 ft. Konad

I tried another MNY lacquer. My sister bought me 4 lacquers when I asked her to pick out some colors for me. I always like these surprises cause she is buying other colors than I would. One of them is this dark brown creme. I didn’t liked it on my own, I have way to light skin for this color. So I decided to do a konad. I messed the konad up big time, so I did a little touch up with a brush, but that didn’t made it any better, so sorry for this messed up nailart. I tested how long this lacquer hold so I showered, worked with it and a day of school, and a day with some shopping and the result is this. The lacquer stays on pretty well, a little chipped at my middle finger but the rest is okay. I’m surprised.

I think the brown and silver is a good combination. I got a lot of compliments on my nails on my work. I see a lot of people looking but not saying a thing. Does this happens to you too? I’m always wondering what they are thinking and if they like it or not. Not that I mind because I do like it, but it is always nice to have some compliments on your nails.

Konad – 2 way nailart pen

After seeing this on a blog I really wanted to have these. I bought them at Enchantra. They sell them for €3,95 each. I bought a pink and a white one. The special thing about this nailartpens is that they have 2 possible ways to create your nailart. First there is the striper, wich you all know from different brands. This makes really smooth lines, and is easy to manouvre because of the thin brush you have.

The second way you can use this pen is with the fineliner/dottingtool point. You can easily make a little circles etc. on your nails. So no more wood sticks for me. They also sell a black, violet pearl and a green one, so I think I’m gonna buy the other colors they sell very soon.

It is really fun and easy to use. If you want to use the dottingtool you only have to press at the middle part, where the nailpolish is in. The pen is made of plastic, so it’s easy to press a little of the nailpolish out and place it on your nails. The striper works as normal nailpolish. The only thing I didn’t like is that the dottingtool isn’t easy to reach because the cap didn’t came off easily. Expect a post soon of I nailart I did with these pens.

Back to School

After seeing this Rose manicure at the Lacquer Files and Beautylab (Serena made a photo-tutorial about this, it’s in Dutch but the pictures a very clear, so go check it out!) I really wanted to try it. Today it’s my first day school, so last week I was thinking about a back to school manicure when suddenly this popped into my mind. So I tried, and think it turned out quite good for my first attempt. It is not that difficult as it looks like, but you really need to practice a little bit. You easily get a plain pink color instead of having the rose effect. At least, that’s what I got, I tend to mix the two colors to much.

The polishes I used for this are For Audrey from China Glaze as the base color, a red Konad and a white Konad nailpolish (next time I’m gonna use regular polishes, these are not so fast drying as the Konad Polishes, maybe that makes it a little bit easier to do) for the roses and Happy/Earthy for the leafs. It’s really fun to do, but takes a bit of time. If you are into nailart you should try this out.

Rawrr

I’m sorry that the update is kinda late today. I had a fun day with my mom and my sister. We went to the Ikea today. Laughed a lot. My mom is great, she tried to drink her coffee today with salt instead of sugar (accidentally), and so on. Yesterday I forgot to schedule a post, but here it is.

Anyways, yesterday I was playing around with Konad again after a long time of not using it. I used the panter print at the m57 plate. One of my favourites. The basecolor I used is Very Berry Smoothie from Diamond Cosmetics. The white lacquer is one of the princess special polishes from Konad. The stamp is a bit smudged because of my topcoat, but I’m still testing one at the moment. Normally I would’ve used the Konad or Seche.

I like the result. I’m thinking of my back to school nails and this one is on my list.

Gradient

So I did an attempt to do gradient nails. It turned out okay, the gradient could be more but hey, I’m a little n00bie on this one so don’t judge to hard :)

Anyways, this is:
- China Glaze – Sexy in the City for the blue.
- Konad Special Nail polish in black with a gold shimmer for the black.
- China Glaze Fairy Dust for the glitters
- Konad Special Nail Polish in white for the konad flowers
- Image plate m57
and a loooot of patient. It took me for about 1.5 hours to make this. Damn, that’s more time then I spend on school on an avarage day. Anyways, I like how it turned out! It feels like i’ve been to a salon or so.

The blue is in real life more aqua. Still haven’t got my cam (my dad is kinda bizzy with a lot of things, so he still hasn’t got the time to put the vacationphoto’s on his pc..) and this one really sucks at taking bright colors right on the photograph.

China Glaze – Go-Go Pink ft. Millennium

Since I bought so many China Glaze the last week (21 bottles in total I think) I wanted to try out another one. I am done with the winter here in the Netherlands, so I wanted to do a kind of spring look. And what goes better with spring than pastel colors? Well, nothing! So here’s a pink one.

I really need to practice my konad-skills again. I decided to cheer this up with konad, but I didn’t do any Konad since… well, last summer I think haha! So it didn’t turned out really great, but hey, it’s okay.

Konad ft. Essence Glam Rock

This one is from the summer. It’s a limited Essence holographic nailpolish from the Glam Rock collection. It’s number 2. I put a Konad stamp on it, just to spice things up a little bit.
