Way back, when Boozyshop.nl was just born, the owner sold DaVinci, a brand from Poland if i’m not mistaken. I’ve worn this lacquer a lot. It reminds me of summer ’08. On my nails the color is way more orange than in the bottle. I was surprised when I tried this for the first time. It is almost a one-coater. The polish takes a bit of time to dry, but it doesn’t annoy me and with some seche or david you solve this problem.

I’m kinda sad Boozy isn’t selling this brand anymore cause I would loved to try out some more polishes of this brand. I think this one is quite unique for a brand as cheap as DaVinci was.

This is number two of the serie of three Nfu Oh polishes I bought at NailXl. It’s Nfu Oh’s #59. It’s a red based polish with red/orange flakes.

I really want to advice you all to use a colorbase and layer this polish cos otherwise it’s kinda sheer. The color is great though.

This color reminds me after vulcano’s and lava, it has this strong red base and with these yellow/orange flakes it looks like your nails are on fire. I really like the color. I do not wear reds very often but for this polish I would happily make an exception.

Nice color for a workday. I can be short on the rest of this polish. HORROR! Complete horror. This are 4 coats and it still isn’t smooth and even on my nails. Maybe i’m just not patient enough when doing another coat but I could not get it right. A 3-coater is the max for me or a polish needs to be really special. This isn’t. I will try it another time when I have more time and more patient and hope it will do the job..

So, today the dutch team plays the first game, and of course I have my nails in style haha! First I started with another manicure but it was quite a disaster. Couldn’t get straight and even lines and it just didn’t worked out the way I planned. It annoyed me so I took the whole thing off and started with another idea.

So this was the first idea. See how the lines are not straight and how the white part is waaay bigger at my pinky? I’m really irritated by my nails if they are not the way I want to.

For this manicure I used a catrice french manicure base (for the white, but it wasn’t white enough). Then with a paint brush the blue color. It’s Static Electricity from LA Colors. With another paint brush (otherwise you mix the blue and red together) the red color. This is a red from Etos in #A188. Now pick a orange color. I used Orange You Sexy from Diamond Cosmetics. So, if the color you used as a basecolor is a opague white you should be done. Mine wasn’t, so I re-did the white with a LA colors art deco striper in white. Finish with topcoat and do a cleanup and you are done!

Orange, the Dutch national color. The only day I personally wear orange is at Queensday. This is the only orange color in my whole nailpolish collection. I just don’t like it on me. It don’t fit me and well, it’s just feel like it’s blah.

That I don’t like the color of this polish don’t mean it completely sucks. The application is, as always with Diamond Cosmetics, really great and its opague with 2 coats. The creme finish works out really well. If you like orange, it would be one of the polishes you should consider to buy!
