Paris Memories – 229

Today it’s time for this gorgeous pink/purple color. When I did the first coat of this lacquer I had a feeling I had seen it before. Turned out that one of my favourites from the minis I got for my birthday is the exact same color. I searched if I already did a post of this color, couldn’t find one, so here it is.

It’s a color in between purple and pink, but it hangs more on the pink side. It has a real small silver shimmer in it. The lacquer is opaque in 2 coats. Application was great as usual. This polish was a bit on the thicker side than the other Paris Memories I own, but still very good.
p2 gorgeous

This is a really cool kinda duochrome color. It’s p2 gorgeous. It has a purple base with silver shimmer in it. The lacquer gets more silver when the light is on it. I had a hard time trying to capture it’s beauty on the cam. It just didn’t show up the way I wanted. It gives you a good call about how it really is. For more swatches I recommened this post from Michele from lacquerized.com.

Drytime is quick. I like to do my manicures in the speedpaint way. I do one coat on all my nails and go directly on to the second (third) and topcoat. So nail 1, 2 till 10 and than nail one again. The p2 polishes are great polishes. With the second coat I do not pick up anything from the first coat on my brush, wich happens with a lot of polishes. I really dig p2, want to get more of it! For the price of €1,55 you would’nt expect much. But they are freaking amazing!
Hi
Hi guys. How are you all doing? I’m really sorry there wasn’t a update the last few days. I was really busy last week so I didn’t had anything scheduled for you. Normally it isn’t a big deal, I can always get up with something and post it. Unfortunaletly I’m sick at the moment, having a really bad cold and I think the flu has got hold of me. My days look a lot like staying in bed, sleep a little bit, wake up with the biggest headache and sleep some more.

Anyways, I did have some swatches that were lying around, so I’m gonna show you Diamond Cosmetics Sun Kiss Coral. A beautiful coral color with a silver shimmer. Application was okay, 2 coats for full coverage. As always. DC never dissapointed me. Available at boozyshop.nl for about €3,99.

This is it for now, hope you enjoy your days a bit more than I do and see you next time
Nectarine

This is one of my most wore polishes all time. A few years back, when I first started to wear polish again I was hooked on the french manicure thing. This one gives a french manicure just a little bit more edge with the silver shimmer. I really liked this one. I wasn’t so fund of all the funky colors I wear in these days when I started.

It is a bit sheer, this are 3 coats and it still has a visible nail line but I used it as a basecoat before I did my white tips so I didn’t mind. Nowadays I would use a basecoat when I use this polish, but for these swatches I didn’t. I don’t think its available in stores anymore. I bought it when it was in the sale for about 2 or 3 euro’s.
Funky Holo Fun
When I did this manicure it was really sunny outside, so I wanted to do something with a holographic polish. So I digged out the Glamrock polishes from Essence. I have all three of them, but I used the light grey/silver one and the pink one today.

I decided to go with pink at first. This is made in the sunlight, so you can really see the holographic glitters. Love it! But I wasn’t satisfied. So I decided to pimp it a little with a moon manicure.

Hmm… Nope, not what I planned to do. So I took it all of again. But I really wanted to do something with this color. So, lets try a french! The pink on the silver would be a better combination cause the silver isn’t opaque enough.

yeah! That’s what I wanted to see. So this is the end result of playing around with two of my holo’s.

Tell me, do you play around with your polishes and get to a result like this one?
Live from outta space

This is Live from the color craze collection from LA Colors. I think it’s really cool for some party but it won’t up ending at my nails for a normal school or work day. It’s way to spacy and shiny for that. It’s kinda like Millenium from China Glaze, but a bit more shimmery. It’s good to use with Konad.
Dorothy Who?
China Glaze’s Dorothy Who is from the Wizard of Ooh Ahz Return collection. It’s a sparkly blue with glitter. It needed 3 coats and I still have a visible nail line. So I decided to practice my Konad skills again.
And with Konad imageplate m57.
The color I used to stamp is Live from the LA Colors Color Craze collection (europian readers -> boozyshop again!)
China Glaze – Go-Go Pink ft. Millennium
Since I bought so many China Glaze the last week (21 bottles in total I think) I wanted to try out another one. I am done with the winter here in the Netherlands, so I wanted to do a kind of spring look. And what goes better with spring than pastel colors? Well, nothing! So here’s a pink one.
I really need to practice my konad-skills again. I decided to cheer this up with konad, but I didn’t do any Konad since… well, last summer I think haha! So it didn’t turned out really great, but hey, it’s okay.
