Hi guys, not been able to post some things in a while. Having an amazing stressfull week. Had my final exams from a few projects and the last week was way to busy to spend time on the blog unfortunaly. Tomorrow I will have a new nailpost for you! Something different than what I usually post. I’m not only a nail-addict. I like beauty in general. When I first saw the Naked palette at youtube I knew I had to have it. Unfortunately they didn’t sell it in The Netherlands at that point. When I heared the news that a Sephora decided to bring it to the Netherlands I was really excited! At the release date I went to the Sephora, but it was already sold out in a few hours. I was kinda dissapointed.

When I found out through twitter that ASOS sold it, I knew this was my change! But I had to work and wouldn’t be home before 22.00, so I was afraid that it would be already sold out when I got back home. I told my e-friend Suzanne that I really wanted it and that it was a shame that it would probably be sold out when I would be at home. As she is amazing, she offered to order it for me. How great is that! Of course I accepted that offer immediately. I was so happy! She ordered it right away, and friday it arrived. I made some swatches and the pigment, wow! I love it. I can’t wait to make some looks with it. Think this will be a palette I will use on a very regular base. I already had the NYX nude on nude palette and that’s my on the go one. I always grab that one if I’m in a hurry, so I think this one will be at my every day routine.

So I bet a lot of you guessed wrong. This polish is a Stargazer, number 307. I think it’s a dupe for Orly’s Space Cadet. When the Cosmix collection was just out I saw the Space Cadet on a lot of blogs, but I didn’t feel it so I didn’t bought it. When the new website BeautyFocus.nl added Stargazer to there webshop I couldn’t resist to take a look. There I saw this lacquer and it immediately reminded me of Space Cadet. So I ordered it with 2 other polishes. Wondering what all the fuzz about Space Cadet was about.

Well, now I know. Oh My Gosh. This polish is so amazing! I really liked it and kept looking at my nails. It has so many different colors. Green, gold, purple, blue, pink. Just WOW!. I’m out of words for this one, I’m even kinda mad at myself for not ordering Space Cadet because I would’ve enjoyed this one earlier!

I wasn’t familiar with the brand Stargazer before, so I was a bit curious when I started to apply. The application was really easy, the brush is a bit on the thin side but it didn’t bothered me. I needed four thin coats for complete coverage for this polish, the other ones only needed 3. It dried faster than I thought. I’m a bit clumsy so I bumped into my desk but the polish stayed on nicely.

Stargazer is sold by BeautyFocus.nl for €3,95. Stargazer claims to not test on animals, which is another good thing. I like this brand and can’t wait to order more polishes!

I’m wondering if you are such nail addicts that you can tell me which lacquer this is. Tomorrow I will do a post of it with swatches etc.

After not having any nailpolish on my nails for longer than a week I decided to do something a bit funky. The last few days it was quite sunny for this time of the year, so I wanted to do something holographic. The winter is coming and this could be the last time that the holographic glitters will show their true colors before staying in my Helmer for quite some time.

I wrote posts about these lacquers before, the pink one is Digital and the purple is Hi-Res. I did one side with the pink and one with the purple. Because these polishes are from the same collection they kinda blend into each other. I think I will do this with other colors again sometime soon. It was kinda late when I did this so the photographs do not show the difference between the two colors as in real life. I made a picture with my BlackBerry when I was waiting for my delayed train. It’s more visible on that one.

I like the effect, it’s subtile but if you look carefully it’s visible. For those who want this lacquers, they are available at Boozyshop.nl. Look them up in the Milani Cosmetics section. The lacquers are from the 3d Holographic line and sell for €5,95 each.

I’m really ashamed that I didn’t upload anything in the past two weeks. After my no-internet days I got a really bad flu and been sick for a week and a half. After that I couldn’t stand the smell of nailpolish, got a really bad headache from it. Today I tried again and I can stand it again, so hopefully I will be home soon and prepare some updates for you.

I’m really sorry guys but there will be no updates in the next few days. I’m writing this post from my BlackBerry because I do not have an internet connection due to an extreme failing internet provider. My internet (and the tv and telephone) crashed yesterday in the evening and won’t be up untill mondaymorning. If I’m lucky. Hope to be up again on monday. But that all depends on the provider, cause this is their problem and we can’t fix this unfortunately.

I will be making swatches and get them ready to upload so if I do have an internetconnection again I can upload a post.

Quick extra post, but my favourite webshop Boozyshop is back! The webshop was closed from august 25th till yesterday. She has a complete new design which looks really good in my opinion and some cool new brands. Go check it all out!

I was getting more and more frustrated by my old layout. I didn’t liked it anymore, so everytime I visited my own page to check if everything was okay I really hated it. Looking at the same old boring (at least, that was what I thought about the last) layout all the time really got on my nerves so it was time for some change. It took my quite some time but finally it’s finished. Now you know what I was up to when I wasn’t updating as much as you used to. I’m really happy in how it turned out to be. If you have any comments or advice in anything that need to be improved, please let me know. Also, please let me know if you see anything that isn’t supposed to be that way. Please take a screen and put it into the comments so I can fix it!
